Al Riddley has been the Executive Director of the Illinois Coalition for Community Services since January 1, 2009. Al is from Chicago Heights. Al's perspective and experience in helping Illinois communities is well rounded. Mr. Riddley has a Bachelors degree in Political Science from Georgetown College and a Master's degree in Education from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.


He currently serves on to the Governor's Commission on the Elimination of Poverty as chair of the "Making Work Accessible" Committee; Illinois Rural Affairs Council; Illinois Council of Area Projects; Advisory Board of the National Governor's Association; Executive Board of the International Equipping Ministries; Executive Board of the North Shore Rescue Mission; Board Member of the Farm Resource Center; Illinois Rural Child Care task force.

He came to the ICCS from the Greater Boston Baptist Association where he was the Executive Director for a group of churches and non-profit organizations who addressed social, political, and spiritual issues.
