Cassidy has been a first responder, EMT, and volunteer firefighter.

She plans to pursue a career in Health Care Management in the future.

She is currently working with Congregations and Neighborhoods Organized in Rockford, IL. to update and publish the 6th edition of the Neighborhood Handbook. This book helps give neighborhoods information on how to organize themselves and helpful resources they can use.
