Garret was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois. He received his BA in Political Science from Western Illinois University. Garret has been a life-long volunteer for the Friend-N-Deed program and has assisted with Big Brothers Big Sisters in Springfield. On Garret’s spare time, he enjoys playing golf, fishing, and hunting.
