When Illinois communities are ready to bring positive change to local youth and families, we’re here to help.
Our services are entirely free and the programs we help put in place are sustainable because local residents, the people who know the most about their towns, are actively involved in finding solutions to improve neighborhoods.
Helping Communities Help Themselves
Our Community Organizers will help you:
- Identify where the greatest local needs exist and put plans and programs in place
- Find local leaders ready to lead change in their community
- Form a community committee and put a strategy in place to make change happen
- Get the needed non-profit paper work (510c3) filed correctly and accurately
- Organize, train and prepare volunteers to put good plans into real action
- Take advantage of state and federal assistance
- Build lasting momentum and transform your town into a thriving community
We work side-by-side with you to discover the changes your community needs, and what programs and actions will bring the most helpful impact. Some examples of our programming include:
- Tutoring, mentoring, and other academic support
- Anti-drug awareness campaigns
- Community movie nights
- Food banks
- Family crisis intervention
- Disaster cleanup and recovery

- Children’s summer and weekend meal programs
